Cross-stitch used different colors of thicker thread 'crossed' over one another to fill in spaces with color block. Cross stitch is more bulky and blocky in its design, and therefore less suited for adornment upon gowns. For furniture however, it is perfect. However, imagine making the same deign over and over again for a furniture set. Tedious work! |
